The 7th Annual Arizona Balloon Classic was a Successful and FUN event for the entire Community!!!
The 7th Annual Arizona Balloon Classic held January 26-28th, 2018 was a great success!!! The Classic was hosted by the City of Goodyear for the first time and the community response was incredible. Reports from the city stated that the crowd was an estimated 15,800 people over the 3 days. We hosted 20 pilots from around the Valley as well as Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico and Texas. The weather Saturday morning was perfect for the Hare & Hound race and the $2,500 prize money went to pilots Doug Campbell Jr., David Fuston, Bill Starr and David Adler for placing 1st through 4th place!
The Inaugural StreetFood Fest at the Classic made sure there was plenty of food to enjoy, as well as Family Fun Zone,
60 vendors for browsing, live music and fireworks on Saturday night!
