Hot Air Balloon Races

Hare & Hound Race – The skies will be filled with hot-air balloons participating in a thrilling competition from the grassy fields of the Goodyear Ballpark for a spectacular sight of mass and color. Walk on the field and experience the balloons inflation and lift off.
Desert Glows
Friday & Saturday evening
6:30PM – 7:30PM
Our most popular event. A field full of illuminated, tethered, hot air balloons will glow in time to music. The Pilot parades will lead off the evenings’ festivities. Don’t miss the Fireworks Show on Saturday night!
Taste Of The Classic

A culinary experience of festival food favorites, “Beer & Beverage Stations”, Live music stage and more. Come hungry and stay for a while! Food & Beverage Services Owned & Operated by J.J. & Sons, proud owners of local mobile restaurants Piggly’s BBQ & Piggly’s Seafood.
Desert Winds Kite Festival
Saturday 10AM – 4PM
Sunday 10AM – 2PM
Our 2nd Annual Desert Wind Kite Festival! My Wind Stuff and Premier Kites & Designs will be featuring huge show kites, candy cannons, paper rocket making and launching, and parachute ground racing. Kites for all ages and abilities will be on hand for sale including single line, dual-line sport kites & quad line stunt kites.

Tether Rides
Aerogelic Ballooning will be providing Festival Flights & Tether Rides.
Balloon flights must be reserved online directly with Aerogelic Ballooning.
Tether Rides are purchased onsite during the festival, the cost is $25 per person.
