Arizona Balloon Classic · Arizona Events Group
Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit abcfest.com, buy tickets to the Arizona Balloon Classic (ABC16), or contact us; how we use it; who receives it; and the choices you have.
"We," "us," and "our" mean Arizona Events Group LLC, the producer of the Arizona Balloon Classic. This policy applies to abcfest.com and to our official ticket box office at tickets.abcfest.com.
1. Who we work with
Arizona Events Group LLC produces the Arizona Balloon Classic and decides how the information described here is used. We rely on these service providers:
- Ticket Tailor runs our ticket box office at tickets.abcfest.com and processes ticket orders on our behalf. See the Ticket Tailor privacy policy.
- Square processes card payments for ticket orders. See the Square privacy notice.
- Netlify hosts abcfest.com and receives the forms submitted on it.
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram) provides the advertising tools described in section 4. See the Meta Privacy Policy.
2. Information we collect
When you buy tickets through our Ticket Tailor box office:
- Your first and last name, email address, phone number, and ZIP code
- Your order details: ticket types, quantity, prices, discount codes, fees, and order date
- Attendee names, if you provide them
- Ticket barcodes and gate check-in status
- Refund, cancellation, and customer-service history
Payment information: Square processes your card payment. We do not receive or store your full card number. We may see limited details such as card type, the last four digits, and whether the payment succeeded.
When you use a form on abcfest.com (contact, vendor, sponsorship, RV reservation, media, or pilot forms): the information you enter, such as your name, email address, phone number, business details, and message.
Automatically, when you visit our websites: your IP address, device and browser type, pages you view, links and buttons you click, the website or ad that referred you, and campaign tags in links (for example, “utm” tags that show which ad, post, or email brought you to us).
3. How we use your information
- To process your order, deliver your tickets, check you in at the gate, and help with your order
- To send important information about an event you have tickets for, such as schedule changes, weather, balloon status, and parking
- To respond to messages and to vendor, sponsorship, RV, media, and pilot applications
- To advertise the festival and measure which ads and links lead to ticket sales (section 4)
- To send marketing emails as described in section 6
- To improve our websites and ticket sales
- To prevent fraud, keep the event safe, and meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations
4. Advertising tracking and cookies
Meta Pixel on abcfest.com. We use the Meta Pixel to measure our Facebook and Instagram ads and to show festival ads to people who may be interested. The pixel runs when you visit abcfest.com. It uses cookies and your browser information to record page views, views of our ticket page, clicks on ticket links and buttons, and form submissions, and it sends this information to Meta.
Meta Pixel on our ticket box office. Our Ticket Tailor box office shows a cookie banner. If you accept, Ticket Tailor's Meta Pixel records checkout steps and completed purchases, including order value and currency. If you decline, Ticket Tailor does not run these tracking scripts in your browser.
Server-to-server purchase reporting (Meta Conversions API). Ticket Tailor may also send order events, such as a completed purchase, its value, and an order reference, directly from its servers to Meta. These can include your email address in hashed (scrambled) form so Meta can connect the purchase to an ad. Because this happens between servers, it may occur regardless of your browser’s cookie settings.
Website analytics. We do not currently use Google Analytics on abcfest.com. If we add a website analytics service, we will update this policy first.
Your choices:
- Accept or decline cookies in the banner on our ticket box office. You can buy tickets either way.
- Block or delete cookies, or use a tracker blocker, in your browser.
- Manage how Meta uses your information for ads in your Facebook and Instagram ad settings.
- Ask us to stop using your contact information for targeted advertising (section 8).
5. Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only as follows:
- Service providers that help us with ticketing, payments, marketing, and event operations, such as Ticket Tailor, Square, Netlify, our email marketing provider, and Meta for advertising as described in section 4. They may use the information only to provide their services to us.
- We do not share attendee or buyer lists with sponsors, vendors, Wild Horse Pass, or Gila River Casinos.
- When required by law, or to protect the safety of attendees, staff, or the event
- If the festival or our company is reorganized or sold, under the terms of this policy
Some state privacy laws treat using advertising tools like the Meta Pixel as “sharing” personal information for targeted advertising. You can ask us to stop (section 8).
6. Marketing emails
If you opt in to marketing communications when you buy tickets, we may email you about this and future Arizona Balloon Classic events and other news from us. We use an email marketing service provider to send these emails.
Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us to stop through our contact form (section 10). We will still send emails about tickets you’ve bought, such as order confirmations and important event changes.
7. How long we keep information
- Ticket purchase records, including attendee and check-in information, and financial records: seven years
- Marketing email subscriptions: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your information, unless we are required by law to keep it longer
- Contact form and other website form submissions: two years, unless we need them longer, for example for an active vendor, sponsorship, or RV agreement, or to meet a legal requirement
Information sent to Meta is kept by Meta under its own policies. When we no longer need information, we delete it or make it anonymous.
8. Your privacy rights
You can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we have about you, and give you a copy
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete your information, except records we must keep by law, such as tax records
- Stop sending you marketing emails
- Stop using your contact information for targeted advertising, such as in advertising audience lists we create. For tracking in your browser, see your choices in section 4.
To make a request, use our contact form as described in section 10. We may confirm your request using the email address on your order. We will not treat you differently for making a request.
9. Children
Ticket purchases are made by adults. Our websites are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 online. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Security
